Programs:
Dillon Home for Street Children - The Dillon Home for Street Children offers a safe home to children who were once forced to live on the streets and dig through trash to find items to sell for food. Dillon partnered with a couple living in the area who are committed to providing these children with a place to call home. Many of the children have won awards for excelling and one of the boys competed in the national chess championship.

$30/month will help care for the children in the Dillon Home for Street Children.

Educational Scholarships - over 280 children in a remote region of Vietnam are unable to attend school because their families are so poor that they cannot afford to educate their children. Dillon International tries each year to provide scholarships for school supplies, tuition,  uniforms, a book bag and a new pair of shoes for each of these children. These children wait each Fall to find out whether their scholarship applications have been approved and if they will be able to school this year.

$100 will give a child a complete year of education.

Heart Surgeries - We currently have 10 children waiting for their open heart surgery. Thanks to a generous donor 8 children received urgently needed heart surgeries and are now back at school and home with their very thankful families.  However, there are still children in desperate need of heart surgery -- some in more critical condition than others.  A pediatric heart surgery typically runs between $750 and $2,300, but what a small price to save a child's life!

Family Medical Grants - Dillon International understands the importance of FAMILY...there is so much meaning in this word. For families in Vietnam a family medical grant means having the opportunity to remain together. For the family below, their son's cerebral palsy makes working outside the home for long stretches of time impossible. Without the medical grant they received through orphanCare International they would be unable to afford the medical care their son needs.

$780/year will provide food, clothing, and medical care for a family such as this one struggling to stay together. That is just $65/month to help a family stay together!
