orphanCare
International depends upon the generosity of others
to continue its work with homeless children. In addition,
to our child and/or program sponsorships, donors have many other ways to become a part of our "life-giving" work on
behalf of children.
Building Families Fund
|
orphanCare's parent
organization, Dillon International, Inc., offers
the Building Families Fund to assist children
with special needs to become more accessible for
adoption and find a permanent family by covering some of
the expenses families would incur in adopting these
children. the fund is also used to help families
who want very much to adopt a child and yet lack the
financial resources with a portion of their adoption
expenses. The average grant with the Building
Families Fund is $2,000, but may be more or less
depending upon an individual family's need. The
fund is ONLY available to families who are
adopting through Dillon International.
|

|
|
The Building Families
Fund was established by several Dillon adoptive
families who wanted to share their join in adoption with
other deserving families while helping the growing
number of children with special needs have the
opportunity to have a loving family and a better life.
Families or individuals who
are interested in helping to contribute financially to
this important fund can contact Susanna Will, Director
of Development, 918.749.4600 or by email. |

Endowment Program
Having placed over 5,500 children
with loving families since 1972, the time has come to ensure
that Dillon International will continue to serve children
joining families today and families who are yet to come
together. Looking ahead to the next 35 years, we see
tremendous opportunities to build families and improve the lives
of children in need. In order to see these goals become
reality, we are compelled to look to the future. We are
pleased to have the Dillon International Endowment Fund.
Initiated by a sizeable
contribution from the Meyer and Whitwell families of Tulsa, OK,
the endowment will help perpetuate the unique culture of caring
that families have come to expect from Dillon International.
The gift from these two adoptive families affirms the agency's
core principles and will help to perpetuate the meaningful
mission embraced by our organization.
With stewardship of any gift as a
primary concern, the endowment funds will be held in trust for
Dillon International and invested conservatively by the
trustees. Annually, a portion of the income generated by
the endowment fund will be distributed to Dillon International
to help offset operational and program expenses. The
remainder of the income, along with additional donations, will
be added to the fund allowing it to grow and provide increasing
resources for new programs at Dillon International in the
future.
Our initial goal is to raise $2
million. The two families along with the Dillon
International Board of Directors look forward to your
involvement in the success and growth of the endowment. If
you are interested in assisting with this campaign or
contributing financially, please contact Susanna Will, Director
of Development, 918.749.4600 or by email.

organization, orphanCare's parent organization Dillon
International, Inc., welcomes all donations to assist us in our
mission to make a better life for children.
Neither
orphanCare International
nor Dillon International will actively solicit donations from its adoptive families who are in
any stage of the adoption process. Additionally,
unsolicited donations from adoptive families who are in the adoption process with Dillon International will not

family's home. This policy applies to the immediate family
as well, which is defined as parents, grandparents, brothers and
sisters of the adoptive family.
Neither
orphanCare Inernational nor Dillon International
may accept donations
from adopting again families - or their parents, siblings or
other close relatives - from the time the adoptive family begins
their new adoption process until the child is placed in their
home.
Any adoptive family who is
currently sponsoring a child(ren) through
orphanCare
International at the time they initiate their
adoption process with Dillon International may continue their
child sponsorship throughout their adoption process, however,
they may not begin a new child or program sponsorship until
after their adopted child has been placed into their home.
This charitable contributions

process with Dillon International.

and corporate sponsors of
orphanCare International and its parent
organization Dillon International, Inc., are appreciated at any
